The Alumalite centre / hat / bell is made from light-weight 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium material (re-useable).

The aircraft-grade aluminium centre 

provides greater resistance to distortion as it allows the disc to expand uniformly.

The 5000 series rotors also feature NAS (National Aerospace Standard) bolts and lock nuts.
